Mobile Mental Health Therapy

Southwestern Human Services is a licensed provider of Mobile Mental Health Treatment.  This service is a home and community- based therapy for people who are unable to participate in traditional clinic based treatment.  It is designed to ameliorate the consequences of the client’s serious mental health and emotional concerns and to further promote empowerment, recovery, and competence while improving access to treatment.

Eligibility requirements for Mobile Mental Health Therapy are as follows:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be eligible for Medical Assistance
• Must meet medical necessity criteria for psychiatric outpatient services but, as a result of a psychiatric or documented medical condition, are unable to participate in traditional psychiatric services delivered in a clinical setting
